I made a smoothie.

I woke up and made a smoothie. It had frozen pineapple. It had frozen mango. It had flax. It had soft bananas because I forgot to put them in the freezer overnight. It has arugula that was on the precipice of being off. It has water. I blended them all together in a blender, poured the liquid into a mason jar and then put it in the fridge.

I watched people on morning television talk about cancer in that way morning television does. All sociopathic optimism and manic positive thinking.

I looked out of the window. It looked cold.
